Drawing on 20 plus years of experience as a financial adviser and insurance agent, Tom McCarty is distinguished for his expertise in investments and retirement planning. He currently serves concurrent roles as president of Williamson McCarty and Associates, LLC, a financial adviser for Eagle Strategies, LLC, and an agent and financial services professional for New York Life Insurance Company. In all his work, he strives to help his clients achieve financial independence and build generational wealth.

Known as a leader in his field, a highlight of his career was being ranked in Forbes Magazine in 2021, 2022, and 2023. In 2021, the publication recognized him as one of the Top 250 Financial Security Professionals in America, and in 2022 and 2023 it named him the Number One Best-in-State Financial Security Professional in South Carolina. He has also been recognized as Top of the Table by the Million Dollar Round Table, a global, independent association of the world's leading life insurance and financial services professionals. In 2022 Tom was inducted into the Marquis Who’s Who of America. Marquis Who's Who® has chronicled the lives of the most accomplished individuals and innovators from every significant field of endeavor, including politics, business, medicine, law, education, art, religion and entertainment.

Mr. McCarty was honored to assume the leadership of Williamson McCarty and Associates, LLC, in 2014, taking over after the former owner, his mentor, passed away. Looking toward the future, Mr. McCarty wants to continue to develop the firm and deepen his relationships with his clients. To remain aware of developments affecting his field, he is active with several industry-related organizations, including the Million Dollar Round Table and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Tom Currently resides in Mount Pleasant, SC with his wife, Beth, and three children.  He is a volunteer coach for his local Rec League.  Tom is a member of the Walterboro Civitan Club and a Board Member for the College of Charleston Athletic Fund. Mr. McCarty earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the College of Charleston.
